ABSTRACT
It is unlikely that such a match will be perfect. Frequently, a performance task will ask students to perform an operation or complete an activity that students in a given class have not yet learned. Alternatively, a scoring rubric will include criteria that do not reflect a district's curriculum. In those cases, either the task or the rubric will have to be adjusted.
