A school is an incredibly uniting community entity. The success or failure of a school has an extreme impact on the community surrounding it-and communities want their schools to succeed. Communities often view schools as museums of virtue, storehouses of memories, and prime sources of local pride (Deal & Peterson, 1999). Communities are hungry for the success of the institution that helps them raise their children and truly want to be supportive of their leaders.
