Effective school-community relations plans must include ways and means of communicating with the internal publics-the employees and students. As more school systems and schools are switching to shared leadership or shared decision making, it is imperative that all members of a school’s family-teachers, paraprofessionals, secretaries, cafeteria workers, custodians, and bus drivers-be informed about the school’s operations.
