ABSTRACT
The last of the four key strategies with special potential for making the most of students is out-of-school enhancement. In this chapter, we describe the pressing need for structured outof-school experiences and the positive effects of such programs on the academic success, social behavior, and opportunities for enrichment of students in at-risk situations.
