Putting It All Together

In this chapter teachers will see how to use the differentiating assessment six-part process with a composite secondary teacher’s math unit differentiated by readiness using “tiering.”

For this unit of study, teachers will see examples of how to apply the six-part process to implement differentiated assessment. What follows is a review of the overview of using six parts of planning differentiated assessment (Figure 6.1) and the Differentiating Assessment: Six-Part Template (Figure 6.2).
