ABSTRACT
Universities are always looking for partnerships, especially if they include an opportunity to conduct research. Professors are under the gun to publish, and keeping that in mind, consider contacting a local department of school leadership or business management that most likely will have a member looking to conduct a study. Time for reflection is essential because it allows to step back and put our daily lives into perspective. For many principals, reflection takes place on the drive home from work. Principals can also enhance their skills by taking advantage of some of the best executive training programs in the private sector. Schools of education are constantly seeking ways of providing cohort programs that enable principals to pursue doctoral work on a calendar that fits with the work schedule. After long hours and overflowing workloads, reading is considered a luxury to most principals.
