ABSTRACT
So let’s review. We started this journey on a trip to better understand and use formative assessments. More succinctly, we aimed at uncovering ways to actually test less, yet assess more. We demonstrated the importance of being able to identify and define current assessments so that each type can be strategically used. Once the purpose for each is determined and common definitions are established, we can more accurately and clearly look at our own assessment tools.
