ABSTRACT
This strategy offers teachers a quick, easy way to pre-assess what students know or remember about a topic or content. Using pre-printed Alphabet Summary sheets (see Alphabet Summary on page 118) or 3x5 cards, the students brainstorm what they know or remember using the letters of the alphabet.
