ABSTRACT

Introducing Instructional Supervision Never before has the field of instructional supervision faced such an urgent need to help teachers thrive in the classroom. The complexities of schools, the many ways in which teachers prepare to enter the field, the varying experience levels of the adults in any given school, and higher calls for accountability as mandated by state boards of education now present administrators with the crucial task of providing learning opportunities that meet the needs of teachers (Zepeda, 2006).
