ABSTRACT
In the course of what I may without exaggeration describe as an exceptionally busy lifetime it has been my lot to travel extensively both in these islands and also in various quarters of the globe. During my travels I have had a wide experience of crowds of various nationalities, and I have not the slightest hesitation in awarding the palm to the English crowd as being by far the best-mannered aggregation of people in the entire universe.
