ABSTRACT
IsLAM looks upon women with an unfriendly and suspicious eye. It pronounces their general depravity to be much greater than that of men. According to Muhammadan tradition the Prophet said: "I have not left any calamity more hurtful to man than woman. . . . 0 assembly of women, give alms, although it be of your gold and silver ornaments ; for verily you are mostly of hell on the day of resurrection." 1 And women are stupid and ignorant as well as wicked.
