ABSTRACT
Love’s Labour’s Lost appeared in 1598 with the notice: newly corrected and augmented. It is generally accepted that the original version of the play is Shakespeare’s first work and would have been performed around 1591. The text that we know thus represents a revision. From it M. Jacques Dapoigny has made a “free adaptation” for the Odéon.
