ABSTRACT
In some rituals, the whole community agrees to hold the same intention in their hearts. The erotic vibrations of the community can then swirl around him and through him, shifting and transforming the vibratory patterns of disease to those of well-being. The Taoist approach to sex has been foundational for the erotic rituals of our monastery. By giving and receiving Taoist erotic massage, we are committed to nourishing with ching chi all realms of being, every level of self. In the days following the ritual, most of the group acknowledged that the physical intimacy of group oil massage had opened them to new dimensions of community that they had not previously experienced. The heart fire ritual, usually an hour long, has no leader, only a timekeeper who also plays the music.
