ABSTRACT
In conclusion, we revisit the three research questions posed at the beginning of this paper. First, were defence-reform and PfP aspirations the correct choice to address the Bosnian situation? Second, what has been accomplished in the ten years that have passed since the first DRC took up its mandate? Third, what are the lessons applicable to BiH and other societies seeking to overcome a troubled past and move towards peace, security and prosperity?
