ABSTRACT
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, 1756–1791, was arguably the greatest musician the world has ever known. He was the son of Leopold Mozart, an opportunistic father, eager to profit from his supremely talented son and gifted daughter. Father abuse was in the form of almost total control, domination, and manipulation of Wolfgang, including isolation from other children and cohorts.
