ABSTRACT

Everything that’s been brought up in this book till this point still applies: Working with the talent and client, your microphone choices, and so on, are no less important when doing long-form sessions or any other type of recording. Developing a relationship with the people you will be working with is very important and goes a long way to developing the trust that is paramount in having a long and satisfying career. As I’ve mentioned previously, it is from sessions like these that I’ve made and kept lifelong friends, and these relationships often go beyond life in the studio and become part of the social fabric of our lives. But it all starts with your professionalism and aptitude for handling your job effortlessly and with a sense of humor.
