ABSTRACT
In this final chapter I want to introduce and briefly discuss two relationships that go beyond the account of the conceptual basis of language developed thus far. These are the relationships of sign processes to (1) the use of utterances and (2) grammatical systems. In a future publication I hope to treat these relationships at greater length.
