ABSTRACT
Due to the complex nature of AIDS and its impact on society, it is necessary to consult both the traditional clinical literature and the popular literature in order to obtain a comprehensive overview of the epidemic. Included in this section are references to both. There is a proliferation of AIDS-related information that a researcher may access. This is not meant to be a comprehensive listing of all printed sources of information pertaining to AIDS. It is, however, meant to provide a point at which a researcher may begin to explore the literature chronicling the various aspects of the epidemic.
