ABSTRACT
As she dabbles in history (or prehistory, which, as a woman, is more her provenance), the feminist becomes aware that most human societies—before our own—did make compensation to women for their bind of being born an “honest” cell. In many instances these compensations are just the “inequalities” that her feminist sisters— and perhaps she herself—have been misunderstanding and railing against for so long.
