ABSTRACT

If you are collecting recordings on behalf of a third party your final responsibility may be the uploading and cataloguing of your files. If, on the other hand, you plan to use your interviews to support outputs you will need to consider how best to analyse and present your material. The extent to which you dissect and ponder the presentation of your data depends both on the nature of your research and the end product. If your interviews have been designed to capture nodules of information (for example, simple facts, feedback about a specific experience, or details of involvement in an event) you may need simply to tabulate and compare responses.
