ABSTRACT

Like many practitioners of my era who were trained as counsellors and therapists some years ago, in my case in the early 1990s, I find myself now with a variety of training and experience in personal, professional and organisational development and a number of roles including consultant, executive coach, trainer, mediator, facilitator and coach supervisor. Many development practitioners are by nature drawn to variety and new learning, and will have encountered along their journey many theories, models, approaches and role models. Some or even all of these will have informed and developed their way of working into what can be a fairly eclectic mix.
