The African-Americanization of the Black Diaspora in Globalization or the Contemporary Capitalist World-System

In the age of globalization under American hegemony, the discourse and discursive practices of black people the world are ever so slowly becoming African-Americanized because of the ideological and material infl uence of the Protestant ethic and the spirit of capitalism promulgated throughout the diaspora by two social class language games of black America: (1) the black underclass (hip-hop culture) and (2) black American charismatic liberal bourgeois Protestant preachers like T.D. Jakes, Crefl o Dollar, etc., who, given their material wealth, have become the bearers of ideological and linguistic domination in black America, and are seeking to do the same in the African diaspora.
