Audit of Union and Parish Accounts.

Your Committee have given considerable attention to the present system of auditing the Union and parochial accounts. They received evidence from, and ascertained the views and opinions of, chairmen and other members of Boards of Guardians, of union and parish officers, of the Auditors themselves, as well as the “Inspector of audits,” with reference to the operation of the existing system, and with regard to its improvement.
