The types of corvettes includes Assad class FFL, Minerva class FFL, Pauk class FFL, Turunmaa class FFL and Vosper Thornycroft Mk 9 class FFL. HDP 1000 class FFL was a useful coastal patrol type with considerable capacity for upgrading in the event of hostilities. Ratanakosin class FFL was a good coastal design with well-balanced multi-role capability in weapons and sensors. Minerva class FFL was an effective design intended to replace the survivors of Italy's obsolete frigate classes in short-range operations. Parchim class FFL was a coastal anti-submarine design based on the Grisha class, a total of 18 ships is anticipated.
