ABSTRACT
Economics is about making choices amid scarce resources and dilemmas. But life is really the most precious and certainly the scarcest resource for all of us. It is therefore very strange that there is hardly any genuine study of the economics of life in the sense of treating our limited lifespan as a scarce resource and offering a systematic approach to making the most out of our lives.
