Imagination and Teaching

So I will begin by designing a framework that incorporates as many as possible of the characteristics discussed in the previous chapter. Indeed, I think it manages to incorporate them all. (This is not to say that there are not a number of important characteristics that I have missed that could be built into a somewhat different framework.) I will describe how the framework can be used in planning by taking a particular topic and designing a unit plan. As I believe that this framework can be profitably used in planning any topic in any curriculum area, the choice of an example here is more or less arbitrary.
