ABSTRACT
According to Mr Russell the class of universals is the sum of the class of predicates and the class of relations; but this doctrine has been denied by Dr Stout.1 But Dr Stout has been already sufficiently answered.2 So I shall only discuss the more usual opinion to which Mr Russell adheres.
