ABSTRACT

The discussion of the transcendent unity of Being in the school of Mullā ṣadrā is always carried out in the light of the meaning which is given to ‘being’ itself from the metaphysical point of view. It is therefore appropriate to turn to the meaning of ‘the polarisation of being’ in the school of Mullā ṣadrā in order to cast further light upon the question of being which lies at the heart of the ‘Transcendental Theosophy’.
