ABSTRACT
This chapter will introduce the Vajrayana or Secret Mantra. The actual practice of Vajrayana will not be explained here. In order to receive teachings on Vajrayana or Tantra, one needs first to have the initiation or empowerment for the practice. Instructors are not allowed to speak about Tantra to the uninitiated. Even if instructions about Vajrayana were given, there would be no benefits if one had not received the empowerment. But a general introduction to the Tantra or Vajrayana can be given.
