ABSTRACT
‘A.E.W.’ was A.E. Wilson (d. 1960). He was a prolific writer and critic. He joined the staff of the ‘Star’ in 1914 and was its drama critic from 1920 to 1954. He was the editor of the definitive edition of the plays of J.M. Barrie and was particularly interested in pantomime.
