St John Ervine In ‘Observer'

St John Ervine (1883-1974), the Irish dramatist and critic, was manager of the Abbey Theatre in 1915 and is remembered chiefly for the two plays ‘John Ferguson’ and ‘Jane Clegg’ which he wrote prior to the First World War. See also No. 175.
