ABSTRACT

Project pervasiveness is underpinned by a number of features. The use of projects as the vehicle of operational means for conducting activities is on the increase. From the market management perspective of the supplier, the term for this is delivery channel (Smyth, 2015). The project business acting in the systems integrator role is thus the manager of the channel. The management applied to the delivery or execution activity is project management, which more recently has been broadened into the management of projects or MoP (Morris, 1994).
