ABSTRACT
The importance of creating a context for visits to museums has been stressed throughout this book, but that has mostly related to the planning and preparation of individual visits. There is, however, another way in which visits can be placed in their appropriate context. You will not be the only teacher in your school making use of museums. Yours will not be the only generation to do so. And you will not, between you, only ever use one museum for one purpose.
