ABSTRACT
I left school with a Diploma in Business and joined the army at 18 years old. Having spent 8 years in the army and a further 5 years within a specialist department of the UK Government, I decide to embark on my lifelong ambition of setting up my own business. The business which provides counter-espionage services is now well established and in its eleventh year of business. I have grown my business organically, initially I was working alone on a consultancy basis, now we have a team of people including some graduates and a solid infrastructure from which we can continue to grow. My business is in a niche but yet growing sector of industry and keeps me very busy. In addition to this I am a Director of a number of trade association boards within my business sector.
