ABSTRACT

The problems in Europe and in North Africa affect the people's decisions to move. Those Catalan people started making interviews in the schools, asking everybody what they would like to do after their studies. Everybody said they would like to go to Europe. Potential migrants in Sub-Saharan countries often do not know much about the situation in Europe. African people, after many years in Europe, are unemployed and without resources and may be looking for new possibilities to survive. The people are not travelling because they are dying of hunger or because of poverty. Most of the people arriving here already have knowledge about farming. So instead of them doing a course, an electrician course, or in construction. People sent containers with used materials to Africa to sell. Some African people found that there are companies that do the recycling, but these companies don't move around to take the things from the street.
