ABSTRACT
Principles, practices and methods of design are intrinsic to every form of government and to every governance approach. Constitutions, policies, laws and the structure of cities and states are matters of design because they are a consequence of human thinking and doing. Since their intent is to accomplish something for people – both for the individual and society as a whole – we can argue that public sector design in principle is human-centered.
