ABSTRACT

It was in the early 60s that the computer made its glamorous entrance into architecture with the publication of two seminal works, Serge Chermayeff’s and Christopher Alexander’s Community and Privacy (1963) followed by Christopher Alexander’s Notes on the Synthesis of Form (1964).
