ABSTRACT

Third Generation Leadership enables people to take a new approach through shifting our brain's locus of control from the red zone to the blue zone. In retrospect it was a case of a lawyer with First Generation Leadership worldview confronted by a police officer with at least a partial Third Generation Leadership worldview. Third Generation Leadership moves people from a society that is based on power and authority to a society that is based on conceptual ability and the provision of a genuine value-added component by leaders. Third Generation Leadership provides everyone with the opportunity for growth and development through transparent dealings and open communication. Third Generation Leadership respects people as people no matter who they are, their sexual orientation, their colour, their religious faith. Third Generation Leadership is totally nondiscriminatory. A Third Generation Leadership world deals with ambiguity and complexity in a positive way for the benefit of those generations that are yet to come.
