ABSTRACT
This same governor distributed all the subjected land in Luzon and the adjacent islands between the conquerors and settlers that were there, and he granted to himself the villages of Betis and Lubao in the province of Pampanga, and others of some importance. The governor who succeeded him dispossessed him of all these ; and later, his Majesty, on account of his good services, did him the favour of granting them all to him ; and he enjoyed them, along with the office of master of the camp of the islands, during the time that he lived.
