ABSTRACT
For us, the triple bottom line is a business principle that enables us to take decisions in a way that moves us towards sustainability. It helps us to ensure that we get the balance right between concerns for business objectives, both short-term and long-term, the implications for people and communities and for the environment. So when we speak to our shareholders, we put a lot of emphasis on that. We do not see a distinction between shareholder and stakeholder interests, as the only way we can honour shareholder interests is by honouring stakeholder interests.
