ABSTRACT
Visiting another organization gives you an opportunity to see how other people do things, and there may be things you can learn from that. In addition, as with travel, experiencing another organization can give you a different perspective on your own organization. Visiting other organizations is relatively cost effective as there may only be travel expenses involved. If you are on a formal programme, it is easier to legitimate visits as it can be seen as something with proper approval.
