ABSTRACT
Honourable sir, being earnestly requested by a deere friend,1 to put downe in writing, some true relation of our late performed voyage to the North parts of Virginia; at length I resolued to satisfie his request, who also emboldened12 me to direct the same to your honourable consideration; to whom indeed of duetie it perteineth.
