ABSTRACT
In the first phase of the process of managing technology transfer we have explained how a technology strategy can be developed (Chapter 8). During this development, managers decide which category of technology a country should target for its development. In the second phase of managing technology transfer, managers focus on the gathering of information on these technologies (Figure 9.1).
