ABSTRACT

But the King of Castile, of whom I can tell you that he went to the Council expecting to be Emperor of Spain, could not obtain anything, but had to return to his dominions. And on his return to Castile, the Lord King of Aragon provided for him all the time he was passing through his territory much better and with greater abundance than he had done at his coming. But he did not return by the same way he had come, but by Lerida and Aragon. And so it would take very long to describe the entertainments made for him ; and he with the Queen and with his Infantes returned to Castile where his subjects had great pleasure and great joy at recovering them.
