ABSTRACT

W h e n those six days were over all the counts and richs homens and barons said to the Lord King that it was not well that he and the Infante should remain in Peralada, but that they should go and encourage the country; and also that the count of Ampurias and viscount Rocaberti should go and fortify their castles; because, from their castles, they could do much damage to the enemy. Besides, that En Ramon Folch, viscount Cardona, who had offered to aid and defend the city of Gerona should go and settle and garrison the said city and that it would suffice if two richs homens with their companies remained in Peralada.
