ABSTRACT
Aircraft synthesis is the actual act of designing the aircraft or a segment of it. In the previous chapters we have said nothing about designing the aircraft. That is the basic point of SE: namely, that the functions, performance requirements, and all the constraints will have been so well defined that the design will now be much easier.
