ABSTRACT
While writing this book it was hard to find a good way to review the available software vendor options. There are many software vendors, and in most cases they each release multiple software versions per year. Given the pace of technology change, within 18 months a direct review of their latest software would be outdated. There is also an issue with balanced exposure, because the author has deep experience with some software and very little with others. Speaking from personal experience would provide unbalanced coverage of the software providers. Also, not all vendors wanted their software reviewed in a side-by-side fashion. The next section tries to balance the risks these issues pose, with the hope of providing the reader with a good introduction to the supply chain visibility vendors.
