ABSTRACT

In part 2 we considered several aspects of how to go about developing a strategic plan. We discussed the need to understand the context and how that influences how an organisation might go about its strategy journey. We considered the importance of questions and the value of conversations at the heart of that process and explored some practical aspects of facilitating these and using various tools and techniques to develop the rich content of a strategy journey. Finally, we looked at the creative challenge of telling the story of the strategy journey in a way that helped people make sense of where the organisation was heading and acted as a platform for action to help it achieve this.
