ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book provides an overview of the major works in the areas of strategy and management. It also provides a brief description of the key concepts of strategy and entrepreneurship. The book reviews the existing theories of strategy formulation in entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises. It outlines the research questions through the development of the framework and the resulting hypothesis about the process of strategic management in entrepreneurial small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The book discusses strategic entrepreneurship and the role of entrepreneurs in the strategy formulation process in SMEs. It examines the entrepreneurs' perception of the importance of the strategic management process in the studied firms. The book also discusses the findings of the research regarding the existence and nature of environmental analysis when developing business strategies in the studied firms.
