ABSTRACT
Because this book is in the Gower Transformation and Innovation Series, which also includes the book entitled Integral Research (2010), written by series coeditors Ronnie Lessem and Alexander Schieffer, and because the research done for this book utilized Integral Research, I felt it was important to provide a sketch of exactly how Integral Research facilitated the research behind the development of Spiritual Capital theory. For readers uninterested in the more technical aspects of research methodology and fieldwork, you can simply jump ahead to the next chapter where Spiritual Capital theory is fully explained.
